PASTOR

"Let's Go to the Mountain."

But first, let's lay the foundation.

About Me.

Pastor Shunise Criswell was born on May 11, 1988, in San Francisco, California, to Pastor Gerald Criswell and Sun Reporter newspaper columnist, Shunda Criswell. From an early age, she was rooted in faith and committed to her relationship with God.

She was baptized at the age of six, on February 4, 1994, under the leadership of Pastor J.P. Prior. As a young girl, Shunise faithfully attended church and actively served in various ministries, including the usher board, choir, children’s ministry, Sunday school, and Bible study. Her strength, courage, and reliability quickly set her apart, and she was often chosen to lead within these ministries.

In March 2012, Shunise publicly accepted her calling to preach the Gospel at New Life Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Gerald Criswell. Just two months later, on her 24th birthday—May 11, 2012—she preached her first sermon titled “Somehow I Made It,” with over 100 people in attendance to witness the powerful moment. Since then, God has opened doors for her to minister throughout California and across multiple states. Through her preaching, many have experienced the transformative power of God as she boldly proclaims His uncompromising Word.

Committed to spiritual and personal growth, Pastor Criswell earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California. She currently serves with honor as the Executive Pastor of New Life Fellowship Church in San Francisco.

Pastor Criswell continues to deepen her understanding of God’s Word as she walks faithfully in her calling.

Her favorite scripture, 2 Timothy 4:6–8, reflects her life’s mission:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

As she continues her journey, her ultimate desire is to hear the words:

“Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”
